Not the landscape, but the path
Not the landscape, but the path” is an ode to the primary element for life. I wish to tell the story of its many subtle transformations. Being raised in the mountains, I have been witness to the true force this vehicle of nature exhibits in the shaping of our landscape. I am enthralled by the mere intrinsic beauty water displays in its ephemeral passage from one state over to the next.

Growing up in Patagonia vastly enhanced my fascination for nature. I yearn to explore the forces that are constantly moulding our land. To contemplate and admire the world around us by recording the way in which things transform into something new, different. I consider cold, water and ice to be inexhaustible objects of study. Not the landscape, but the path: a wild and hostile environment, untamed by the hand of man; the insignificance of mankind against such infinity. I like to observe the details that construct and deconstructed our land, how the rocks shape and mould new scenery, all the transformations the ice suffer, how they melt and change onto another state. Ephemeral landscapes that might not exist in the future. The infinity of the color pallets made by the erosion. I would like tu submit some work that I have made the last couple of years, focusing on the strength and fragility of the Patagonian glaciers.
